About Me

As you dance amiably around the world wide wonderland and find yourself stumbling onto this Website, you start to find yourself asking questions like, Who is this guy? Why is he here? Why has he set up this site? Why are there birds outside my window? Hey, they're not birds, they're monkeys! Why are they beckoning me outside? Why are they holding chainsaws and making sawing motions on their necks...?

I wont be able to answer the majority of those questions, but before you get killed by the mad monkeys that have escaped from the circus beckoning you outside, i'll have a go.

My name is Nathan Greaves. I'm 15, and I come from a rainy little town in England called Kendal. I'm a christian (or jesus follower for all you jesus followers out there), but then it would be odd if I wasn't really, creating a site like this...

A little while back, at the youth church I go to called Drench, on thursday evenings at St. Thomas' Church, Kendal, I was given a word and a bible passage from god, delivered by one of the youth leaders there.

The verse:

Therefore I will teach them - this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know, that my name is the Lord. (Jeremiah 16:21 NIV)

The Word:

God wanted to use me and my ministry, probably abroad, to show people his "power and might" I will be really passionate about God, his love, healing and freedom.

Anyway, recently I decided that I wanted to get on with it, so to speak, so I talked to the youth leader who gave it to me, and asked her what to do. She told me I should pray about which area of ministry/leadership I wanted to try out, and they'd get me an oppurtunity to do so. I emailed my christian friends about this, and gave the issue to my cell group. One of the members suggested I set up a website and use that to 'preach' to people, and maybe God could use me abroad in that respect, until I leave school.

So, I set up ipreach, the website you've just stumbled accross.
